Full mouth dental reconstruction or rehabilitation is done for people who need repair and/or replacement of most or all of their teeth. This treatment is needed in various scenarios when someone’s mouth is badly damaged or deficient due to tooth loss, trauma, neglect, dental decay, extreme grinding of the teeth, or congenital defects. This type of patient typically needs more comprehensive dentistry to restore their mouth to normal function and appearance. Their treatment plans may include a combination of root canal therapy, extractions, fillings, crowns, bridges, dental implants, and prostheses.
Dr. Morrison received special training for this type of dentistry in his postgraduate program upon finishing dental school. Comprehensive full-mouth rehabilitation was a major focus of his postgraduate residency at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. This additional degree has allowed him to treat numerous patients with these advanced needs in his practice from all over the region.
